What does Zapex do?
Zapex monitors UK companies you care about — customers, suppliers, investment targets and other business relationships — using Companies House filings and Gazette notices. We score momentum, explain each score in plain English, and send email and in-app alerts plus email digests.
What data do you monitor?
We combine Companies House filings with Gazette notices and score them across 11+ signal categories. That covers financial health (accounts, filings and borrowing), distress risk (insolvency, restructuring and strike-off) and governance (leadership, ownership, late filings and company status). Strike-offs are company events and are not always insolvency events.
How does monitoring work?
Search a company for an on-demand score, or upload a CSV and build a watchlist. Incoming Companies House filings and Gazette notices are classified and scored continuously. When momentum changes, you get a score update, a plain-English explanation and an alert — without checking Companies House or The Gazette yourself.
Is this a credit report or a company health score?
Zapex provides evidence-based company scores from Companies House filings and Gazette notices — not a traditional credit report. Scores show whether momentum is strengthening or weakening across financial health, distress risk and governance, with a plain-English explanation of the evidence behind each score.
Which companies can I monitor?
Any UK-registered company, by its Companies House registration number. Run an on-demand score without adding a company to a watchlist, or monitor companies on a watchlist. Starter covers up to 50 companies, Professional up to 500, and Business 5,000+.
How do I add companies?
Every plan includes instant company search, so you can find and add companies one at a time, or run an on-demand score without adding them. Every plan also includes CSV import — include a company number and, optionally, a name on every row. Business adds bulk management so you can add or update companies in volume.
How do alerts work?
Alerts notify you when a company's score moves, or when a relevant Companies House filing or Gazette notice is published, so you don't have to check manually. All plans include email and in-app alerts, a weekly digest and industry and location alerts for activity beyond your watchlist. Professional adds webhook notifications and a choice of daily or weekly digest. Business adds custom filters and alert rules so teams see only the company events that matter to them.
Who is it for?
Individuals and small teams monitoring a focused list of clients and business relationships (Starter); finance, commercial, operations and risk teams watching customers, suppliers and relationships across a growing portfolio, or evaluating investment opportunities (Professional); and organisations that need API access, bulk management and deeper integrations (Business).
Can I work with my team?
Starter is a single-user workspace with multiple watchlists and PDF exports. Professional adds three user seats, shared watchlists, KYC and AML due diligence and CSV export. Business adds 20 or more seats, role-based access, bulk company management, custom filters and alert rules, and usage and activity reporting.
Is there an API?
Every plan includes API access. Starter covers 10,000 requests per day, Professional 50,000, and Business 200,000 or more. Webhook notifications are included from Professional upwards.
Is the data kept up to date?
Yes. Monitoring uses the latest Companies House filings and published Gazette notices. Scores are recalculated as new events are published, and those changes appear in your digest and alerts.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. Plans are billed monthly with no long-term contracts, and you can cancel at any time. Prices exclude VAT.
